is a wholly owned subsidiary of Zotefoams plc, the world's leading manufacturer of closed-cell, cross-linked block foams.
Our full-process manufacturing facility includes plastic extrusion lines and high-pressure nitrogen gassing.
The manufacturing facility utilizes three stages of a proprietary process to create foam that is superior in strength, consistency, quality, and purity superior to foams produced by other methods.
Our products are used in a wide range of markets including automotive, aviation, aerospace, construction, medical, health and beauty, packaging, transporting, and sports and leisure.
Reporting to the Director of Finance & Accounting, this position will be responsible for general accounting tasks ranging from reconciliation of accounts, monthly financial close and report preparation, general ledger functions, and support of ongoing accounting needs for the operation.
Responsibilities/Duties:
Month-end financial close process, reconciliations, and journal entries.
Month-end financial reporting - P&L, Balance Sheet, and Statement of Cash Flows.
Responsible for banking activity, payment posting, and cash reconciliation.
Maintain AR Aging Summary, including collection activities.
Maintain the general ledger accounting system and reports according to GAAP.
Responsible for Sales and Use tax processing.
Responsible for auditing and coding expense reports, verifying in compliance with company policies.
Assist in Fixed Asset accounting and reconciliation.
Participate in budgeting and forecasting activities.
Participate in the inventory physical stock count.
Comply with financial policies and regulations.
Miscellaneous projects and tasks as assigned.
Preferred Education and
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in accounting One to three years of professional accounting/finance work experience Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including the Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) Proficiency with Microsoft Office Advance MS Excel skills a plus (VLOOKUP's and pivot tables) ERP systems - Microsoft Dynamics is a plus! Strong planning, organizational skills, attention to detail, and a problem-solver Strong teamwork - eager to cooperate with others and have exceptional interpersonal-communication skills at all levels of the organization.
Results-focused; work to tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
Excellent communication skills, verbal and written.
Ability to understand and follow safety standards.
