Summary:
Our Pump and Shoring Specialists play a key role in driving and growing the pump and shoring business in their territory.
In this position you will provide sales and application support for the rental reps in the region, as well as leading key account project management.
As a Pump and Shoring Specialist, you will learn and correctly apply pump and shoring equipment with complex hydraulic system designs and technical shoring layouts, for jobs sites such as trenching, excavation, and sewer bypass projects.
You will be relied upon to keep our customers working and building the world around you! REQUIREMENTS:
A Pump and Shoring Specialist must understand construction phases, job situations, and project conditions for timing the approach of customers and rental product application suggestions.
Having an ability to efficiently visualize pump and shoring system layouts to ensure all equipment is correctly applied and delivered the first time, as well as ability to walk customers through proper set-up/start-up procedures will be key.
You will discuss customer needs, suggesting the most suitable and safe equipment for the application and be the source of information to our customers and rental reps about related equipment and services available in the local market area.
The Pump and Shoring Specialist position will require a strong understanding of hydraulics, mechanical understanding of pumps, and safety regulations of the shoring industry, of at least 3-5 years.
High school diploma or equivalent will be required, with college or technical degree preferred.
Must have a valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information.
The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
