Reports any delays or issues on loads to Production Manager.
Monitors and controls inspection, packing and loading, including employee hours and wages and manages to approve budget.
Manages warehoused finished goods and returned products, ensuring goods are inspected, paperwork completed, inventory is accurately maintained and communicated to Traffic Manager.
Interviews, selects and trains employees to produce at standard-and-above efficiency.
Creates positive work relationships and environment to enhance employee morale.
Trains employees in safe work practices and good housekeeping procedures; sets and enforces expectations.
Recommends changes and improvement in methods, equipment, handling or lay-out.
Completes required administrative reports accurately, completely and timely.
Communicates and monitors policies to effectively control discipline, absenteeism and waste.
Adheres to Company and governmental policies governing employment and safety.
Completes all other projects assigned by Manager.
Requirements Minimum 3 years experience in plant office and/or shipping functions Must have strong leadership qualities Job Type:

Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
